So hey, it’s been a minute!
I can’t even begin to tell you about the madness that is moving. I didn’t like it when I was single, I didn’t like it before I had kids. But moving with children in tow is a whole different game, folks – it’s kind of crazy. We’ve been in our temporary living space for about a week now, and it’s taken Olive about this long to get comfortable with her new bedroom. Packing and unpacking also takes that much longer because you have to wait until they’re asleep to really get into it. I’m already dreading the move back at the end of the year. I just want to sleep for days.
One good thing did come out of the move though – during this time, I came to realize that I just have…way too much stuff. Stuff that I never use, stuff that I forgot was even there. We spent a lot of time decluttering and reselling things, and I’m happy to report that I feel…so much lighter.
In the spirit of decluttering I created this free downloadable wallpaper for you guys, as a reminder to Collect Moments, Not Things. Even though, you know. I really, really, really like things. All the things. Every thing. (Stop, Jody).
You can get this wallpaper here.
So glad to be back you guys!
